This Southern California USA-based Alternative-Rock band was formed in
the late '90s by lead vocalist Kevin Ridel, a long-time friend of Weezer's
frontman Rivers Cuomo; Ridel assembled AM Radio hiring British-born guitarist
Rowan Robertson, California native guitarist Jason Moore, Canadian bassist
Bryce Soderberg and drummer Joe Higgins.
The quintet released their debut self-titled EP in 2002, on a small label
called Viola Records.
The band's first full-length album, "Radioactive", was released
on Elektra in the summer of 2003, it included the single "Taken For
A Ride".
