This Alternative-Rock band was first formed in Las Vegas, Nevada USA,
in 2005 by lead singer + songwriter Rick DeJesus, lead guitarist Chris
Iorio, bassist Chris Clemence and drummer Jon Logan, but underwent several
changes in line-up before settling with the five current members: DeJesus,
Iorio, second guitarist Keith Wallen, fellow bass player Derek Johnston
and new drummer Trevor Stafford.
Without any album up, Adelitas Way, named after a brothel in Tijuana's
Zona Norte, has already opened for the likes of Chris
Cornell, Hinder, Tantric,
Chevelle, 10
Years and Saliva.
The band's debut self-titled CD was released in July 2009 on Virgin/EMI
Music; "Invincible", the first single off the disc, stormed
the radio stations throughout the country, breaking the top 25 of the
Billboard's Rock Songs chart.
