Downpatrick, NORTHERN IRELAND, rockers The Answer got together in spring
2000 around vocalist Cormac Neeson, guitarist Paul Mahon, bassist Michael
Waters and drummer James Heatley.
They signed a contract with the Australian rock label Albert Productions,
in 2005 and brought out their debut album, "Rise", in June 2006.
The band have performed with icons such as AC/DC,
The Rolling Stones, The
Who and Aerosmith, playing celebrated
headlining tours in England, Japan and Australia. Their debut record,
which sold more than 100,000 copies, was greeted enthusiastically by fans
and media alike.
"Everyday Demons", The Answer's second LP, the first to be
released in the United States, arrived in March 2009 debuting at #25 in
U.K. and inside the top 40 of the U.S. Billboard Heatseekers chart led
by the single "Demon Eyes".
