The New York-based Alternative-Metal outfit Bloodsimple, came together
in late 2001 when frontman Tim Williams and guitarist Mike Kennedy left
their previous Metal-core band to launch a new recording project, but
it wasn't until the addition of guitarist Nick Rowe, nearly a year later,
that they started writing the material for the first album; bassist Kyle
Sanders and drummer Chris Hamilton were eventually added to the band to
complete the line-up.
Thanks to constant gigging the quintet became rather popular developing
a close friendship with Mudvayne singer
Chad Gray, who took them on the road and made them the first signing to
Bullygoat, Gray's imprint on Warner Bros. Records; Bloodsimple's debut
full-length CD was fianally released in March 2005, it includes the single
"What If I Lost It".
