Based in Los Angeles, California USA, the Alternative-Rock act Broken Bells is the new recording project from The Shins' James Mercer and Brian Burton -- AKA Danger Mouse --.

Their eponymous debut album features Mercer on vocals + guitars & bass while Danger Mouse plays piano + synths & drums. The disc, which is due for release in March 2010, includes the single "The High Road".
