Bruce Dickinson

Born Paul Bruce Dickinson on August 7, 1958, in Worksop, Nottinghamshire ENGLAND, he began his musical career as a vocalist with a heavy Rock band called Samson. The turning point in his life came on in late 1981 when joined Iron Maiden, the band became one of the most popular Heavy-Metal acts in the world with a string of successful albums and their incendiary live shows earned them a strong legion of followers.

In 1990 Dickinson released his first solo album, "Tattooed Millionaire", the record rose to #14 in the U.K. chart and entered the top 100 of the American Billboard 200 Albums list; it included a couple of British top 30 singles, the title-track and and the rendition of "All The Young Dudes".
He continued performing with Iron Maiden but in 1993 the singer announced his departure from the vetaran Heavy-Metal band.
A second solo album, "Balls To Picasso", followed a year later, it barely missed the top 20 in U.K. and scraped the bottom of The Billboard Top 200 chart with only one minor Mainstream Rock hit, "Tears Of The Dragon".
In February 1996, Dickinson issued "Skunkworks" which reached the #41 on The Official British chart but failed to produce a hit single; he followed it up with "Accident Of Birth" in mid-1997, former Maiden guitarist Adrian Smith co-wrote many of the songs and plays on the record but this album missed the top 50 in Britain.
Nearly a year later the singer released his fifth solo effort, "The Chemical Wedding", to very little attention.
In early 1999, it was announced that Dickinson had rejoined Iron Maiden for a reunion tour and in May of 2000 the band's classic line-up released the come back album, "Brave New World".
He also started a side project, dubbed Trinity, with two other Heavy-Metal superstars: Judas Priest's Rob Halford and Geoff Tate from Queensrÿche.

Bruce Dickinson resumed his solo career, releasing in May 2005 "Tyranny Of Souls" which includes the single "Abduction".
