Dark New Day is a sort of Alternative-Metal Alternative-Rock supergroup counts on with a line-up comprising singer+guitarist Brett Hestla, guitarist+vocalist Clint Lowery formerly of Sevendust, second guitarist Troy McLawhorn of doubleDrive, bass player bassist Corey Lowery from Stereomud and drummer Will Hunt formerly of Skrape.

The Orlando, Florida USA-based outfit, released their debut album, "Twelve Year Silence", in June 2005; the set includes the hit single "Brother".
