Dredg photo 2002

This Alternative-Rock four-man band was formed in the early '90s by vocalist+guitarist Gavin Hayes, guitarist Mark Engles, bassist Drew Roulette and drummer Dino Campanella; the guys began performing in clubs in their native Los Gatos, California USA, before they graduated high school.

In 1997, the foursome self-financed the a 3-track EP "Orph" and followed it up with their first full-length disc, "Leitmotif".
Dredg unique sound caught the attention of Interscope Records who re-released their debut album in 2001.
The following year, in October 2002, the band churned out its second album, "El Cielo", the set was recorded in 5.1 surround sound in San Francisco and climbed the Billboard's Top Heatseekers chart peaking at #23.

Dredg returned in mid-2005 with the new album "Catch Without Arms" which features the single "Bug Eyes".
