This Alternative-Rock four-man band was formed in the early '90s by vocalist
+ guitarist Gavin Hayes, guitarist Mark Engles, bassist Drew Roulette
and drummer Dino Campanella; the guys began performing in clubs and bars
in their native Los Gatos, California USA, before they graduated from
high school.
In 1997, the foursome self-financed the a 3-track EP "Orph"
and followed it up with their first full-length disc, "Leitmotif".
Dredg's unique sound, which combines equal parts of punk aggression and
metallic complexity, caught the attention of Interscope Records who re-released
their debut album in 2001.
The following year, in October 2002, the band churned out its second
album, "El Cielo", the 16-song set was recorded in 5.1 surround
sound in San Francisco and climbed the Billboard's Top Heatseekers chart
peaking at #23.
Dredg returned in mid-2005 with "Catch Without Arms", it reached
the #123 position on The Billboard Top 200 Albums chart and yielded a
minor hit single in "Bug Eyes".
After four full years the northern California rockers released their
fourth studio album, "The Pariah, The Parrot, The Delusion"
which features two singles "Saviour" and "I Don't Know".
