Alternative-Rock trio founded by vocalist+bassist Max Collins and guitarist
Jon Siebels, in Los Angeles, California USA, the two signed a contract
with RCA Records in 1996, the line-up was completed two years later, when
Tony Fagenson, son of producer Don Was, joined on drums.
The band released their firs single, "Inside Out", which surprisingly
hit #1 on Modern Rock Tracks chart, the subsequent self-titled debut album,
cracked The Billboard Top 200 chart and achieved platinum status; the
second single, "Leech", ranked in the top 10 on both the Billboard's
Rock charts.
Eve 6's second effort, "Horrorscope", appeared in mid-2000 but
failed to become platinum, it went gold reaching the #34 on The Billboard
Top 200 Albums chart; the record included three singles: "Promise"
which reached the #3 on The Modern Rock Tracks list, "On The Roof
Again" peaked at #19 in the same chart and "Here's To The Night"
made top 30 on The Billboard Hot 100.
"Think Twice", released in summer 2003, crashed into the top
10 of The Modern Rock Tracks chart, it preceded the group's third LP,
"It's All In Your Head", which rose to #27 on Billboard's Top
200 chart.
