A native of Connecticut, singer+guitarist & songwriter Mat Devine,
relocated to Chicago, Illinois USA, in the mid-'90s and put together this
sleek, sexy, undeniably melodic and thoroughly unique Alternative-Rock
band.
The group released a series of strong D.I.Y. recordings, including three
EPs and two albums: "Here Are The Young Moderns" in September
1998 and "American Jet Set" four months later.
Several members came and went through the years, Kill Hannah finally solidified
with its strongest line-up ever, featuring guitarists Devine, Dan Wiese
and Jonathan Radtke, bassist Greg Corner and drummer Garret Hammond.
After being signed by Atlantic Reocrds they released their major-label
debut, "For Never & Ever", in October 2003 reaching the
top 30 of the Billboard's Heatseekers chart while the lead single, "Kennedy",
achieved national airplay on alt-Rock radio.
Kill Hannah returned in August 2006 with "Until There's Nothing
Left Of Us"; the Chicago Rock quintet's new CD includes the single
"Lips Like Morphine".
