Alternative-Rock combo Louis XIV began life as a side-project for Convoy
members singer+guitarist & songwriter Jason Hill, vocalist+guitarist
Brian Karscig and drummer Mark Maigaard, during 2003, in San Diego, California
USA.
That same year they recorded, between April and May, their self-titled
independent album; followed, a year later, by a couple of 4-track EPs:
"Blue" and "Pink", the latter of which featured "Finding
Out True Love Is Blind", the track received airplay on many alt-Rock
radio stations nationwide.
The band then recruited bassist Jimmy Armbrust and toured the U.S. with
The Killers and The
Von Bondies.
In 2005 Atlantic Records issued "Best Little Secrets Are Kept".
