Comprising a four-piece line-up, fronted by singer+guitarist Damian Kulash,
along with school friends keyboardist+guitarist Andy Duncan, bassist Dan
Konopka and drummer Tim Nordwind, the Alternative-Rock act OK Go formed
in 1999, in Chicago, Illinois USA.
It wasn't very long before the guys had developed a solid following in
their hometown and by the time they signed with Capitol Records; OK Go
issued its self-titled debut album in September 2002, the record rose
to #1 on The Billboard Top Heatseekers chart and eventually cracked The
Billboard Top 200 list while the single, "Get Over It", crashed
into the top 20 of The Modern Rock chart.
The quartet recorded their second album in the Swedish industrial town
of Malmö; the set, entitled "Oh No", was released in August
2005 and includes the single "A Million Ways".
