One Day As A Lion is a recorded interaction between Rage Against The Machine frontman Zack de la Rocha and ex-The Mars Volta drummer Jon Theodore from Los Angeles, California USA. The name taken from the infamous 1970 black and white, captured by legendary Chicano photographer George Rodriguez featuring a center framed tag on a white wall in an unspecified section of Boyle Heights.

Combining the typical Rage's Rap-Metal approach with Alternative-Rock, One Day As A Lion released its eponymous debut EP in July 2008 on Anti- Records; the 5-track set includes the band's first single, "Wild International".
