Sia Kate Isobelle Furler, an Adelaide, AUSTRALIA-native singer+songwriter,
started her professional musical career in the U.K. by working as a backup
singer for Jamiroquai and also collaborated
with Trip-Hop act Zero 7, on their debut album.
In 2000 Sia, pronounced See-ah, scored a bolt from the blue
top 10 hit with her debut single, "Taken For Granted", which
appeared on her debut full-length CD, "Healing Is Difficult",
two years later.
The Australian vocalist released her second album, "Colour The Small
One", in early 2004, but it was over a year later that she made the
U.S. Billboard Top Heatseekers chart, when the single "Breathe Me"
was used as one of the main themes to the TV series "Six Feet Under".
Ms. Sia Furler's third studio album, "Some People Have Real Problems",
will arrive January 8, 2008; the set includes her new single "Day
Too Soon".
