Robin Thicke, the son of Canadian actor Alan Thicke from the '80s sitcom "Growing Pains" and actress+vocalist Gloria Loring, was born and raised in Los Angeles, California USA; he started professionally writing songs at the age of 16, penning dozens of songs for other artists such Pop-Soul and R&B artists as Mary J. Blige, Christina Aguilera, Brandy and Usher.

In the fall of 2002, the 25 years old, Thicke released his proper debut album, "Cherry Blue Skies", an excellent mix of Pop-Rock, Hip Hop and a little Latin Salsa; this album, which was repackaged and retitled "A Beautiful World" in spring 2003, peaked at #4 on The Billboard's Top Heatseekers chart and cracked The Billboard 200 Sales list, highlighted by the single "When I Get You Alone", a funky, playful, danceable track which has as it's driving core, Beethoven's Fifth Symphony; the second single off the CD was "Brand New Jones".

With an album, tentatively titled "The Evolution Of Robin Thicke", already recorded and ready, Robin Thicke are back with his new single, "Wanna Love You Girl".
