Formed in Los Angeles, California USA, from the ashes of the short-lived
modern Rock act Home Town Hero,
Under The Influence Of Giants is comprised of vocalist Aaron Bruno, guitarist
Drew Stewart, bass player David Amezcua and ex-Audiovent
drummer+keyboardist Jamin Wilcox.
The group set up their own page on MySpace and ended up compiling an
extensive friends list that continues to grow, then recorded a five-song
EP, featuring the Hot Adult Top 40 hit single "Mama's Room",
distributing it at their shows and on-line.
Most of that release survived intact on the band's debut self-titled album;
produced by former Blind Melon members
Brad Smith and Christopher Thorne, the CD came out in August 2006 on Island
Records.
