Good Charlotte has signed a deal with Capitol Records and will release their long-delayed new album, "Cardiology", on October 26. The band have tapped "Like It's Her Birthday" as the lead single from the record.
Foo Fighters will begin work on a new album with producer Butch Vig in September. No word on a possible release date.
Guster have titled their new album "Easy Wonderful". The record is due out on October 5 via Aware/Universal Republic.
Mushroomhead will unleash a new album, "Beautiful Stories For Ugly Children", on September 28. The first single will be called "Come On".
Alter Bridge are alleged to have signed with Roadrunner Records for the release of their third studio record. The as-yet-untitled album is scheduled for a September release.
Weezer could have a new album out in September. Rivers Cuomo tells the News Times in Connecticut that the band is about to sign with a new independent label, after fulfilling their contract with Geffen. An as-yet-untitled new record is tentatively slated for a September 13 release.
Jimmy Eat World have announced via Twitter that their new album is titled "Invented" and will be released September 28.
O.A.R. has released some information about their upcoming seventh studio album. The record will hit stores sometime in early 2011 and Marc Roberge said that it will be a little more like the Maryland rockers' earlier recordings.
R.E.M. have announced that the band wrapped up the recording of their next album in Berlin. The band will return to the new material in the fall to mix and finish off the album, with a Spring 2011 release date in mind.
